Italian Robotics Olympics 2020: Airborne meets the young talents in automation engineering.

On June 30 we will join the final event of the 2020 edition of the Italian Robotics Olympics 2020 and present on Airborne to this young and promising audience.

Every year, the Italian School of Robotics, in partnership with the National Minister of Education, University and Research, launches the Robotics Olympics, a competition which involves students of all the high schools. The goal of the initiative is to promote the study of the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The 2020 edition is ongoing: after a first selection, the top 30 teams have been merged and each was asked to decide which data to collect and analyze with machine learning techniques in a project aimed at protecting the environment. The individual teams then crafted sensors for the collection of such data and an original prototype with one of the two kits that were sent to each student in the team by the Italian School of Robotics.
During the final event, that will be held online on June 30th, the alliances will present their projects to the selection board and the three winning teams will be nominated.

We are really happy to have the opportunity to present Airborne to these young and enthusiastic talents of Robotics and Automation Engineering and, who knows, maybe to meet one of the future members of the Airborne team!
The program of the day will be published on 25 June 2020.
